Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Softserve Tickets (the "Service"), provided by Softserve Digital Solutions ("Softserve", "we", "us") of Maseru, Lesotho. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
- Platform — the Softserve Tickets app, website and services.
- Organiser — the party hosting an event and selling tickets through the Platform.
- Merchant — a vendor selling goods or services at an event.
- Wallet — an event-scoped cashless balance you top up to spend in-venue.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be 18 or older, or use the Service with a parent or guardian. Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and you are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Tickets
- Prices are shown in Lesotho Loti (LSL) and include any fees stated at checkout.
- The Organiser is responsible for the event itself (line-up, timing, venue, admission rules). Softserve provides the ticketing and payment technology.
- Refunds and exchanges follow the Organiser’s policy and applicable consumer law (for example, where an event is cancelled).
- Each ticket’s QR code is for single admission; duplicated, altered or resold-above-face tickets may be refused.
4. Cashless wallet & payments
- You may top up a Wallet to spend at participating merchants. Wallet balances are for purchases, earn no interest, and are not a bank deposit.
- Top-ups and payments are processed by Softserve Payments and third-party providers (e.g. M-Pesa, EcoCash, card networks), whose terms also apply.
- You authorise us to debit your Wallet for taps you (or your bound RFID/NFC tag) make. Keep your tag safe; report loss promptly.
- Refunds of unspent balances are handled per the applicable event/refund policy.
5. Merchant transactions
Merchants are the sellers of their goods and services. Any dispute about quality, fulfilment or suitability is between you and the Merchant; Softserve facilitates the payment and can help with transaction records.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to commit fraud, circumvent access control, resell tickets unlawfully, interfere with the Platform, or reverse-engineer it. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
The Platform, its software and branding are owned by Softserve or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
8. Service availability & disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, including at venues with limited connectivity.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Softserve is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts of Organisers, Merchants or payment providers. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Softserve against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.
11. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, fraud or legal reasons.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified through the Service. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Lesotho, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
